A new kind of heritage
Crafted in India. Made to last.
Handloomed textiles, plant-dyed fabrics, and quiet objects — sourced from small ateliers across the country and shipped worldwide.
From the founders
Why we make things slowly
We started India Store because the best things we own were made by hand — by people who took their time. A khadi shirt stitched in Rajasthan. A copper vessel hammered in Moradabad. A block-printed linen that softens more with every wash.
These things have a texture machines can't fake. They also have a story — a weaver, a dyer, a village, a season. We thought those stories deserved a storefront of their own.
Every piece we carry is made in small batches. Many are one-of-one. All of them are meant to last — and to get better with time.
“The beauty of something handmade is in the hands that made it.”
— Craft letter, Jaipur — 2026
What we stand for
Slow by design. We'd rather carry twelve considered pieces than two hundred trend-driven ones.
Fair by default. Every atelier we work with is paid on delivery, at rates they set themselves. No middlemen, no markdowns at the loom.
Built to last. Natural fibres, natural dyes, hand-finishing. The kind of quality that looks better in five years than it does today.
